Dashed ghosts are ready moves: click places one, double-click places it and greedily finishes that microbatch, right-click picks something else for the slot. Click any empty slot to place there directly (gaps auto-fill with idles). On placed ops: click removes it and the rest of its microbatch after it (other microbatches stay), double-click finishes its microbatch, drag slides it in time — downstream ops get pushed along, and you land in ✏️ edit mode to commit or cancel. Hold Shift and hover to trace dependencies (red = it needs, green = it unblocks). The thin bars above each lane are activation memory. ↑↓ select rank, i = idle.
